Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) is an initiative which links four academic subjects together and relates them to industries in the real world.

Lancashire Education Business Partnership is part of the National Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths Network (STEMNET) which is funded through two Government departments; DIUS (Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills) and DCSF (Department of Children, Schools and Families). Previously branded as SETPOINT Lancashire, Lancashire Education Business Partnership now holds the STEMPoint contract for Lancashire. Through this contract we strive to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to participate in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) activities which link schools to the 'world of work'.
Lancashire Education Business Partnership are skilled in facilitating links between education and the wider STEM community, providing a high quality, personal service to all schools and colleges throughout Lancashire.
