S E As

Science and Engineering Ambassadors (SEA’s) are a group of highly skilled professional people with backgrounds and careers within the STEM arena. Our Science and Engineering Ambassadors help young people find out about what STEM careers are really like and will support various activities in schools, enabling students to see the real-world use of STEM.
Through our SEAs and STEM activities LEBP aims to address the under-representation of various groups in STEM. By highlighting the multitude of opportunities with the STEM field, and giving students the chance to talk to and work with a wide range of people with a STEM background, we are helping to break down the traditional stereotypes associated with Science, Engineering and Technology careers.
By encouraging SEA’s from all walks of industry and diverse background to work with students, our activities help raise the aspirations of young people and help raise awareness of the exciting opportunities they can aim for.
