to gain first hand understanding of , manufacturing household
cleaning products as part of the STEPS at work Programme,
Sponsored by the Royal Academy of Engineering.
Curriculum

Design Technology.
Robert McBride Ltd
is responsible for the manufacture of private label /
supermarket ‘own brand’ household and personal care products.
The Burnley site specialises in household products including
disinfectant, multi surface cleaners, rinse aids and trigger
products. With the exception of the printed product labels, the
site is relatively self sufficient, from manufacturing over 60
million plastic bottles per annum to filling labelling and
delivery.
