14 to 19
What is the new Diploma?
It is a new qualification for 14-19 year olds aimed at providing young people with industry specific knowledge and experience. These new qualifications have been designed by teachers, employers, sector skills councils and universities.
The Diploma will allow young people to act as creative thinkers and work as part of a team. The qualification will also allow them to have a better understanding of the skills needed in business and how they operate.
"Studying The Diploma will give you skills that are valuable for university and the future."
Professor Michael Arthur
Vice Chancellor, University of Leeds

How are Lancashire Education Business Partnerships supporting the Diplomas?

How can I help?
Now, more than ever, employers’ involvement, both nationally and locally, in the education system is crucial to the successful development of tomorrow’s employees. Employers will play a vital role in making these new qualifications a success. These qualifications will not be a success without the support and input from employers.
